Jin Xuhui, Ph.D., Professor and doctoral supervisor of School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Beijing Institute of Technology. He mainly researches on the preparation and application of new organic conjugated macromolecular photoelectric materials, and has been selected as a national young talent. He has won the Postdoctoral Dean's Scholarship of Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel, the PBC fellowship (PBC Scholarship of Israel Higher Education Commission), and the Lu Jiaxi Outstanding Graduate Student Award. First Prize for outstanding graduates of Fujian Institute of Material Structure, Chinese Academy of Sciences, currently in Science, J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. He's been published in journals.
It mainly studies organic optoelectronic functional materials, aiming to develop novel organic optoelectronic molecular systems and controllable low-dimensional new organic optoelectronic nanocomposites. The research involves the accurate synthesis and assembly of monodisperse crystalline one-dimensional and two-dimensional nanocomposites, related light capture, energy transfer and transformation mechanisms, structure-activity relationships, and so on. And its application in the fields of detection, photocatalysis, photoelectric conversion, etc.
