Liu Xiaobi, male, Doctor, Associate professor, doctoral supervisor. He was born in October 1972. In March 2005, he received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Application Technology from Beijing Institute of Technology. The doctoral dissertation is an excellent doctoral dissertation of Beijing Institute of Technology. From March 2005 to July 2008, he was a lecturer at the School of Computer Science, Beijing Institute of Technology. In July 2008, he was promoted to associate professor. In 2009, he was selected into the New Century Outstanding Talents Support Program of the Ministry of Education.
At present, he teaches the undergraduate course "Foundation of Artificial Intelligence" and the graduate course "Artificial Intelligence" and "Computer Vision". He has guided (including assisting) 13 doctoral students, 18 master students, 3 national innovation programs for college students, 1 National "Challenge Cup" extracurricular academic science and technology works competition for college students, 6 students of Beijing high school students "Soaring Plan", and 4 students of early training program for young reserve talents. His current research interests include machine learning, information retrieval, pattern recognition, and computer vision. It has been published in IEEE JBHI, Pattern Recognition, Neurocomputing, Journal of Automation, Journal of Software and other first-class academic journals at home and abroad and GECCO, ICDAR, ICME, SPIE Published more than 30 papers as the first author or corresponding author in important international academic conferences such as MI, published 1 artificial intelligence textbook, presided over more than 10 scientific research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation, the National 973 program project, and the Ministry of Education's New Century Talent Support program, presided over 1 school education reform project, and obtained 4 national invention patents. Won the second prize of Weapons science and technology, the second prize of excellent teaching materials in Ordnance Engineering colleges, the first prize and the third prize of excellent education and teaching achievements of Beijing Institute of Technology, and guided students to win the second prize of National "Challenge Cup".
