Zhang Wenyao, Ph.D., born in Pingxiang, Jiangxi Province, is currently an associate professor and master tutor of School of Computer Science, Beijing Institute of Technology.
He graduated from Jiangxi Normal University in 1996 with a bachelor's degree. He graduated from Beijing Institute of Technology in 1999 with a master's degree. In 2003, he graduated from the Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Sciences. In March 2003, he worked as a teacher in the School of Computer Science, Beijing Institute of Technology. September 2014 - September 2015, Visiting Scholar, Harvard Medical School, USA.
At present, he is mainly engaged in scientific visualization, medical image processing, mixed reality, artificial intelligence and deep learning. Cumulatively presided over: 2 National Natural Science Foundation projects, 1 National Natural Science Foundation cooperation project, 1 university basic research fund project, and a number of school-enterprise cooperation projects. As a key member, he has participated in a number of National Natural fund projects and ministerial cooperation projects. He has published nearly 40 academic papers, declared 25 national invention patents (17 officially authorized), and declared and obtained 13 computer software Copyrights. Co-published 1 textbook and 1 translated book.
