Song Weitao, male, born in Zhuanghe, Liaoning Province in January 1989, is a prospective professor and doctoral supervisor. He is selected as the National Young Talent Program in 2021. His main research work includes color science, human-computer interaction, and new display.
He has presided over several projects including National Key Research and development projects and National Natural Science Foundation, and published more than 30 articles in journals in the fields of Nature Communications, Laser & Photonics Reviews, IEEE TVCG, Optics Express, etc. More than 20 authorized invention patents, won the first prize of science and Technology Progress of China Image and Graphics Society (ranked fourth), the first prize of China Optical Engineering Society Innovation Technology Award (ranked seventh).
The main course is "radiometric Photometric colorimetry and its Measurement", "Advanced Spectroscopy and Colorimetry", "Modern Lighting and display Technology" and other courses.
He served as a member of the ISO/IEC SC24 expert group of the International Organization for Standardization, the deputy chairman of the Vision and Color Committee of the Chinese Society of Lighting, the secretary-general of the Virtual reality Committee of the Chinese Society of Image and Graphics, the director of the Beijing Association of Image and Graphics, and the member of the human-computer Interaction Committee of the Chinese Computer Society.
