He has been engaged in teaching and scientific research on principles, methods, key technologies and system integration of precision photoelectric imaging/detection technology and instruments and equipment for a long time. His main research includes: technology and equipment of precision photoelectric imaging/testing, laser confocal/interference/spectral imaging and detection, intelligent optical inductance measurement, laser micro-nano manufacturing and monitoring, and nano measurement and control. In recent years, he has presided over major national scientific instrument and equipment development projects, National 863 program theme projects, National Natural Science Joint Fund integration projects, National Natural Science Foundation major scientific instrument development projects, National Natural Fund key projects, National Natural Fund Scientific instrument special projects, national key research and development transformative special tasks, civil space projects, etc Key items.
