His main research interests are integer programming theory, algorithms and software and their applications in supply chain management and wireless communication. He is currently the director of Beijing Operations Research Society, IEEE Transactions on Network and Service Management, IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications, SIAM Journal on Optimization, Journal of Global Optimization, EURO Journal on Computational Optimization and other journals have published several academic papers. In 2018, it won the "Science and Technology Award and Operation Research Application Award" of the Chinese Operations Research Society, and in 2020, it won the "Excellent Doctoral Thesis of the Chinese Academy of Sciences" of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
