Zhang Weihang, member of the Communist Party of China, Doctor of Engineering, is currently an assistant professor, special associate researcher and master supervisor of the School of Medical Technology of Beijing Institute of Technology. His research interest covers intelligent analysis and processing of medical images. The research group relies on the team of Professor Li Huiqi from the School of Information and Electronics of Beijing Institute of Technology, and the team of Professor Wang Ningli, director of the Beijing Tongren Eye Center, to set up a comprehensive artificial intelligence diagnosis platform development team, focusing on the application of artificial intelligence technology in the field of ophthalmology. Up to now, as the project leader, I have presided over 1 project of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation and participated in 1 project of National key research and development plan as the backbone of the project. He has published 16 papers in high-level academic journals, including 13 SCI journal papers (9 JCR-Q1+ 4 JCR-Q2), with a total citation frequency of 400+ in Google Scholar database and a personal H-index of 10. A total of 3 national invention patents have been authorized and 3 software Copyrights have been obtained.

Research Interests


Application of artificial intelligence technology in medical image analysis and processing. Relying on the team of Professor Li Huiqi from the School of Information and Electronics, Beijing Institute of Technology, and the team of Professor Wang Ningli, director of the Beijing Tongren Eye Center, the research focuses on the application of artificial intelligence technology in the field of ophthalmology.
Professor Li Huiqi and I recruit postdoc, doctor and master students all year round. We welcome students who have academic ideals and are willing to challenge high-level scientific research to join us! Enrollment intention: "double first-class" university or discipline is preferred, I hope to have a strong mathematical foundation, programming ability and English expression level, with artificial intelligence, biomedical engineering, computer, automation, electronic information, software engineering, instrument optoelectronics, clinical medicine and other related professional background.
