Research Interests

He has been engaged in the research of nanophotonics materials and devices, especially the application of nanomaterials in photodetectors, light-emitting transistors, solar cells and other optoelectric conversion devices. Specifically, the research area focuses on the following three aspects:
(1) Photodetectors: Wide spectrum (ultraviolet, visible light and mid-infrared), high-performance photodetectors based on nano-photonics materials (such as nanowires and quantum dots, etc.), as well as basic research of photodetectors and their applications;
(2) Solar cells: basic research on the application of new high-efficiency solar cells based on organic and inorganic photoelectric functional materials and nanophotonics materials;
(3) Light-emitting diodes (Light-emitting diodes) : Basic research on the application of new high-brightness light-emitting diodes (LED) and light-emitting transistors (LET) based on organic, inorganic photoelectric functional materials and nano-photoelectric materials.
