Research Interests

He is mainly engaged in frontier interdisciplinary research of soft condensed matter physics. New phenomena and mechanisms of interaction between light and soft matter, novel micro/nano structure soft matter functional materials and their applications in biosensing are studied. His research interests include: (1) Optical activity of self-assembled metal micro/nano structures and their application in molecular chiral sensing; (2) Dynamic chirality regulation of nano plasmon and its application in the construction of soft nanorobots.

Education

1998 Doctor of Science, Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences;
1989 Master of Science, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China;
1986 Bachelor of Science, Beijing Normal University

Professional Experience

From 1998 to 2005, he worked at Nagoya University in Japan, Technion-Israel University of Technology, Heidelberg University in Germany (Humboldt Scholar), and the National University of Singapore. He joined the School of Physics, Beijing Institute of Technology in 2006.

Research Achievement

More than 40 papers have been published in ACS nano, Adv Function Mate, Nanoscale, Soft Matter, Crystal Growth&Design, J Phys Chem B/C, Nano Research, Phys Chem Chem Phys, J Chem Phys, and other journals, with more than 1200 citations and an H-index of 21 (data sourced from Google Scholar). The main research results have received attention from domestic and foreign peers, and have been reviewed by multiple review articles in top academic journals such as Chem Rev, Angel Chem Int Ed, Chem Soc Rev, ACS Nano, J Am Chem Soc, etc. Invited to serve as a reviewer for journals such as Nano Lett, J Am Chem Soc, ACS Photonics, ACS Nano, Nanoscale, Soft Matter, J Phys Chem Lett, Chem Commun, Anal Chem, Phys Chem Chem Phys, Sci Rep, Langmuir, etc. I have led/participated in 6 National Natural Science Foundation projects and am currently researching the mechanism of plasmon mediated light molecular enantioselectivity (2021-2024)
