He received his bachelor's and Master's degrees in engineering from Shandong University in 2003 and 2006, and his Doctor's degree in engineering from the State Key Laboratory of Pattern Recognition, Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2010, under the supervision of Professor Cheng Qing Zong. In the same year, he entered the School of Computer Science, Beijing Institute of Technology and has been working since then. He is now engaged in research related to natural language processing and machine learning in the Language Intelligence and Social Computing Team. The academic leader is Professor Huang Heyan (Dean).

Research Direction
He is mainly engaged in the field of natural language processing, including text understanding, machine translation, knowledge mining, deep learning, etc. His research interests also involve image processing and other fields.
