Personal profile

Dr. Ning Gao joined the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Beijing Institute of Technology in 2023 to conduct independent scientific research. Recent academic research has focused on "the construction and application of Protocell models." Through rational design and orderly assembly of amphiphilic molecules and colloidal particles, the research group is committed to building a cell-like system that can simulate the specific functions of real cells, that is, the primitive cell model. Our aim is to deeply understand the nonlinear material, information and energy conversion mechanism in real cells through the construction and regulation of primitive cell models, so as to better serve the application scenarios such as bionic catalysis and medical health.

We warmly welcome students with scientific research enthusiasm to join the research group to pursue master's degree and doctoral degree. If you have obtained or are about to obtain a PhD, you are welcome to join the research group to continue your scientific research (postdoctoral or research assistant). When it comes to selecting team members, we are not judged on whether we publish high-level papers. At this stage, these three skills are a plus (but not a requirement) :
1. Excellent English level;
2, with colloidal and interfacial chemistry related research experience;
3. Experience in organic synthesis or polymer synthesis.
