Yang Kuan, Han nationality, Member of the Communist Party of China, Doctor of Law, postdoctoral fellow, Associate professor, doctoral supervisor, assistant dean of the School of Law, Beijing Institute of Technology, Deputy Dean of the Institute of Aerospace Policy and Law. He is also a member of the Board of the Chinese Society of International Law, a member of the Board of the Chinese Society of Space Law, a member of the board and Secretary-General of the Beijing Society of International Law, a researcher of the Space Law Center of the National Space Administration, a member of the IAF Space Traffic Management Committee, a member of the editorial Board of the Annual Journal of China Space Law. Co-expert of the MILAMOS Handbook on International Law Applicable to the Military Uses of Outer Space Project, Member of the Chinese Alumni Association of Trinity University Dublin, Ireland. From 2011 to 2015, he studied in Ireland under the government grant and obtained the Juris Doctor degree from Trinity University Dublin. From 2017 to 2018, he was J. C. Arsenault Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute of Air and Space Law, McGill University School of Law, Canada. He was a part-time lecturer at Trinity University School of Law, Dublin, vice-chairman of the All-Ireland Chinese Students' Association, and a member of the World Economic Forum's Outer Space Global Future Council. He has presided over the Youth Project of the National Social Science Foundation, the Basic Technological research project of the State Administration of Science and Industry for National Defense, and the annual project of the China Society of Space Law, and participated in a number of major projects and specially commissioned projects of the National Social Science Foundation, as well as related research projects of the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Education, and the Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization.
