An expert in aviation traffic engineering technology, mainly focusing on research in air traffic management, aviation communication, and navigation. Born in July 1965 in Hefei, Anhui Province. Graduated from Beihang University in 2001 with a Doctor of Engineering degree. Elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2013.

Research Interests

Long-term commitment to aviation traffic engineering technology, system research, and talent cultivation. Have done fundamental and pioneering work in aspects such as the operation monitoring of civil aviation airway networks, satellite-based airway operation surveillance, and civil aviation flight inspection.

Research Achievement

Have presided over the development of China's new-generation air traffic service platform for civil aviation, satellite-based airway operation surveillance equipment, and civil aviation airborne flight inspection platform. The research findings have been widely applied. Have won 2 First Prizes of the National Technological Invention Award, 1 First Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, and 5 First Prizes of the Provincial and Ministerial Science and Technology Progress Awards. Have published over 100 academic papers and 2 monographs. The teams led have successively become an innovation team of the Ministry of Education, an innovative research group of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and an innovation team in key fields of the Ministry of Science and Technology.
