Fan Jingfan is currently an associate professor and doctoral supervisor of the Dean of Optronics at Beijing Institute of Technology, a young scientist of the National Key Research and Development Program, a candidate of Beijing Science and Technology New Star and Beijing Young Talent Promotion Program, a director of Beijing Image and Graphics Society and a member of the Digital Medicine Branch of Beijing Medical Association. He is mainly engaged in algorithm research in computer vision, augmented reality and medical image processing related fields, and has hosted a number of national projects/topics such as National Natural Science Foundation and key R&D programs. He has published more than 60 papers in MedIA, IEEE-TVCG, IEEE-TIP, PR, MICCAI and other journals and conferences. He has participated in the research and development of a number of medical image-assisted diagnosis and treatment and surgical navigation systems, and the related intellectual property rights have been declared/authorized more than 40 national invention patents. He has won the ACM/ICPC Gold Medal, the Beijing Image and Graphics Society Excellent doctoral thesis, MICCAI Young Scientist nomination, China Instrumentation Society Jin Guofan Young Student Award, the fifth/sixth China "Internet +" College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Gold Award Outstanding Innovation and entrepreneurship mentor and other honorary awards.
