Zheng Hong, Master of Engineering, Associate Professor, master tutor. He received his Bachelor's degree in Engineering in 1985 and Master's degree in engineering in 1988 from the Department of Computer Science, Beijing Institute of Technology, and is currently secretary of the Second Party Branch of the Faculty. In recent years, he has taught courses such as "Computer Network" and "Computer Network Practice" for undergraduates and "Advanced Computer Network" for postgraduate students. He has presided over three key projects of military enterprises, undertaken two pre-research projects of the eleventh and Twelfth Five-Year Plans, and one project of the National Natural Science Foundation. He has published 1 textbook, 3 translated works, and obtained 1 invention patent authorization and many software Copyrights. He has published many papers. He has won one second prize and two third prizes for National Defense science and technology progress, one Outstanding Education and Teaching Achievement (collective) award of Beijing Institute of Technology, and honorary titles such as "Outstanding Communist Party Member of the University" and "Advanced Individual of the University's three education people". His current research interests are computer networks and distributed systems, with a focus on cloud computing, machine learning, data mining, etc.
