Feng Chong, Doctor, professor, doctoral supervisor, national leading talents. Vice Chairman of Machine Translation Committee of Chinese Language Information Society of China, CCF senior member. From 2005 to March 2010, he was engaged in research and development and project management in the field of language information processing at the Computer Language Information Engineering Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. In March 2010, he was transferred to the School of Computer Science, Beijing Institute of Technology. He is currently the deputy director and secretary of the Institute of Language Intelligence and Social Computing of the School of Computer Science, and the deputy director of the Engineering Research Center of Beijing Mass Language Information Processing and Cloud Computing Application, and the deputy director of the Key Laboratory of Information Intelligent Processing and Content Security of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Served as a reviewer for SCI international journals such as KBS and TKDE; Field Chairman and program committee member of COLING, CCL, CCMT and other domestic and foreign academic conferences.
Specializing in language information processing technology for nearly two decades. As the person in charge, he undertook more than 10 national key research and development projects, National 863 program projects, National Natural Science Foundation and other scientific research projects, and participated in 5 national defense projects as the core backbone. The developed technology and platform have been deployed and operated in a ministry of the People's Liberation Army, a bureau of the Ministry of State Security, the National Computer Network and Security Management Center, Beijing Science and Technology Information Institute and other departments, breaking through key technologies, achieving remarkable results and producing good benefits. Published in TKDE, KBS, SIGIR, EMNLP, AAAI and other high-level international journals and conferences SCI index more than 10 papers, EI index more than 20 papers. It has won 1 provincial and ministerial first prize, 1 provincial and ministerial second prize (ranking 4th), 2 provincial and ministerial third prizes (ranking 2nd), and 4 national defense scientific and technological achievements appraisal. University outstanding Communist Party member.
In the past ten years, he has guided more than 40 master's and doctoral students. Two master's students under his guidance have won excellent master's theses. Responsible for 2 graduate education reform projects. Among them, the graduate students have gone to well-known enterprises (Tencent, Baidu, Today's headlines, Didi, Ali, Bank of China, China Commercial Bank, etc.), to pursue doctoral studies (Carnegie Mellon University, the United States, etc.), and research institutions (Institute of Information Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, High Voltage Institute of Electrical Science and Technology, etc.). At present, there are 17 postgraduate students.
