Research Interests

Energy Storage Materials and Fuel Cells
Design and synthesize novel metal-organic framework materials (coordination polymers), carbon-based framework materials and their composites, and study their applications in hydrogen and natural gas storage; investigate the active electrode materials and novel functional separator materials for new lithium-ion batteries, sodium-ion batteries, air batteries, and fuel cells.
Membrane Separation and Purification Materials
Design and functionalize novel metal-organic framework materials, and study their applications in gas adsorption, separation, capture of toxic and harmful gases, and purification of trace pollutants.
Green Catalysis
Utilize the heterogeneous catalytic activity of novel metal-organic framework materials (coordination polymers), carbon-based framework materials and their composites to achieve efficient chemical catalysis, electrocatalysis, photocatalysis, as well as the recovery and reuse of catalysts.
