Abstract
A mesoscopic Josephson junction in a superconducting ring enclosing a magnetostatic flux with dissipation is considered in the Wigner-function formalism. It is shown that for weak dissipation the state of the junction can evolve in a quantum superposition of two coherent states which exhibits quantum interference.
