Three-dimensional probabilistic shaping OFDM-PON system based on novel orthogonal coded modulation

Abstract

A nonuniform-distributed OFDM-PON system based on 3D probabilistic shaping with novel orthogonal coded modulation is proposed. Experimental results indicate that the proposed system obtains better BER performance than conventional QAM scheme.
