Abstract

A new method of the design of Hybrid Electrically Variable Transmission that can make the computer design automatically was proposed. The graph model of EVT Transmission was propounded and the point represents the component and the line represents the connections. The different connections of EVT Transmission were labeled different number. The planarity of graph model was tested by D.M.P algorithm and the infeasible structure was removed. The mechanical linkages can be compared for isomorphism by the improved algorithm called linkage characteristic polynomial. The transmission was compared for isomorphism by local isomorphism test. The calculation outcome shows that the method can be used to the design of Hybrid Electrically Variable Transmission of vehicle.
