Abstract
In this paper, based on the complex signal model of ground forward scattering radar (FSR), the analytical signal energy formula is derived step by step, and moreover the close form of signal to noise ratio (SNR) is obtained, therefore the improvement factor of optimal processing can be also directly obtained. Finally according to the signal model and SNR formula, the simulate results show the correctness of the SNR analysis of ground FSR, it also indicates the huge potential application of ground FSR.
