Abstract
A terminal unit which has simultaneous audio and data transmit ability based on the JN5139 module is designed for applying it to a multimedia wireless sensor network, and the audio stutter problem caused by buffer underrun is solved. On the basis of Cluster+AODVjr routing algorithm, a routing strategy based on data type is proposed, which can prevent RREQ from flooding and can balance energy costs of the nodes. The sound quality is evaluated by using E-model, the result shows that the longest transmission distance can reach 150 m, and the data packet loss ratio can be reduced to less than 8%.
