Abstract

With the development of the close relationship between the tracking moving object algorithms and the monitoring system, PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) cameras become more powerful in offering requested images than platform-lens ones. How to choose the perfectly suitable algorithm turns out to be the main issue which people concern about. In this paper, we propose a virtual platform system, working as a PTZ camera, in which allows a variety of algorithms test their performances. Under the same platform system with the identical environment, the final resultant data given by the system seems more valuable to refer, which can be the basis of the right choice among a collection of algorithms.
