Abstract
The Backus-Gilbert (BG) method provides a signal recovery algorithm based on the moment information of a signal. In this work, we focus on a class of signals that can be well approximated with a multiresolution model, and propose a generalized BG method for signal recovery. A numerical experiment is given to demonstrate the performance of the generalized BG method.
