Abstract

The image quality under complicated illumination can be greatly improved by high dynamic range (HDR) image methods or reconstruction technology. The basic principles of dynamic range extending for 2D image sensor are introduced, all HDR image reconstruction methods which developed during last decades are summarized. Specially, the HDR image reconstruction methods for normal performance image sensor are focused.
