Abstract
A novel triazole-bridged cadmium 1D coordination polymer, [Cd(Admtrz)Cl2] n (I) (Admtrz = 3,5-dimethyl-4-amino-1,2, 4-triazole), has been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions and structurally characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectra, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Complex I was constructed from μ2-Cl, μ3-Cl, and triazole bridging modes. It exhibits a strong blue fluorescence emission band in the solid state at ambient temperature.
