N2 - As transitional form between hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) and electric vehicles(EV), the plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) can deal with complicated operating conditions of automobile for its characteristics of deep hybrid, therefore it has been popular in the new energy vehicles fields. In addition, energy management strategy as the main control logical of PHEV, its capbility determines the performance of PHEV. And on this point, a lot of related research literatures are produced. Based on the above situation, it makes comprehensive analyses of latest research progress and development trend of energy management strategies for PHEV, and comparing optimization performance and application potential in real world. Finally, the prospect for the developing trend of energy management strategies for PHEV is presented.
