Study on the visco-elastic constitutive model of PBX

Abstract

A statistical visco-elastic meso-damage constitutive model of PBX was established using the generalized energy release rate and the dynamical fracture mechanics is combination with the visco-elastic effect, adding the constitutive model into Ls-dyna algorithm and simulating the plane impact experiment. The simulated results showed that the constitutive model established can well present the dynamical damage mechanical response of PBX under the impact load.
