Abstract

The rapid transfer alignment technique in marine environment is studied. Dynamic equation of attitude error between the master and slave inertial navigation systems is presented. Kalman filter technique is adopted under the condition of no maneuvering, depending simply on random disturbances from wind and wave. The rapid transfer alignment process works well. The final simulation result shows that the slave inertial system's misalignment can reach an anticipated precision in a short time.
