Abstract

The formation of RDX / stearic acid film was studied by vacuum evaporation technology in the article. The theoretical bases of evaporated RDX and stearic acid compound are offered by DSC analysis. The test expresses that RDX and stearic acid would be evaporation simultaneity in certain evaporation temperature. The deposition rate of RDX and stearic acid steam molecules in the substrate are influenced by evaporation temperature and substrate temperature. The substrate temperature of deposited RDX / stearic acid film is expounded. It is shown that stearic acid uniformly coat on the surface of RDX granule by the analysis of scanning electron microscope and EDS energy spectrum.
