Abstract

The application of terminal impulse thruster control of trajectory correction projectile was researched. By analyzing the layout of impulse thruster controllers, and the work process of laser detector and forces which acted on the trajectory correction projectiles, a impulse force control trajectory model on pitch plane was established. The range correction ability of impulse force and body attitude while impulse forces not acting on the center of gravity was studied. Simulation results indicate that on the condition of impulse forces not acting on the center of gravity of the projectile, the damp of the body is small, the swaying angle of body is large, and the transient time is long because of the impulse force moment. It is difficult to adopt closed loop controlled body to pursuit guidance law.
