Abstract
By using the zirconium n-propoxide (C 12H 28O 4Zr), lead acetate (Pb(CH 3COO) 2·3H 2O), isopropyl titanate (Ti{OCH(CH 3) 2} 4) as the starting materials, the PZT powders were prepared by an improved Sol-Gel technology. The effects of different annealing process on the phase formation, grain size and particle dispersion of PZT powder were investigated. The results showed that the change of the sintering time at the stage of pre-crystallization had no obvious influence on the particle size; however the change of the crystallization time or crystallization temperature at the stage of crystallization would lead to dramatically changes on particle size.
