Abstract

In order to explore the simulation method of the scaling model of shaped charge in engineering application, the formation process of JPC is simulated by the two-dimensional finite element dynamic code AUTODYN2D. The numerical simulation arithmetic, the model equation and the material parameters are identified by comparing the experimental and numerical simulation results. The simulation model is magnified by two ways, the analogue law of simulation of JPC's formation is explored and the law of building the magnified simulation model is obtained. Large-scale models should be calculated choosing the mesh checked in the small-scale model, and the similarity of numerical calculation leads to inaccurate results when the mesh size is enlarged.
