Shifting process study on dynamic control and management system of hybrid electric vehicle

Abstract

For developing the shifting function of the hybrid electric vehicle, dynamic control and management (DCM) system is studied. DCM system introduced and its control procedure is also analyzed. The dynamic model of hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) powertrain with the DCM system is established and analyzed. The control strategy of shifting without clutch operation is compared with control strategy of shifting with clutch operation. The control strategy of shifting without clutch operation can accomplish the shifting fast and smoothly. A car of Beiqi Foton which is used to be the carrier of the dynamic control and management system is tested. The validity is proved by the test of the real vehicle.
