Shift parameter detection of frame shift and integral technique

Abstract

The technique of frame shift and integral can suppress image noise and avoid image smear caused by the integration of moving images. It is one of effective methods to improve the quality of moving image sequence. The detection of moving direction and shift value is the key technique of frame shift and integral. A method to detect the moving direction and shift value of the target in moving image sequence was presented. In the method, the frame difference images that include characteristic pixels were produced by the arithmetic. Numbers of the characteristic pixels were calculated to achieve the orientation judgment and the calculation of shift value. The experimental results show that the detection values of the shift value accord with the actual values.
