Abstract

Some space orbital targets were introduced. Compared with aircraft, space orbital objects vulnerability was analyzed in some aspects, such as environment, representative structure, aero craft theory, lethality mechanism, defence speciality and maneuverability. The destruction types of a profile against double plates were presented. The destruction types included local perforation and avulsion. The respective lethality model was obtained. The damage probability was obtained when a fragment impacted the double plates by hypervelocity. It is a certain reference and important reality signification that the vulnerability analysis and lethality model of space target are researched, to strengthen our space defence ability.
