Abstract

The cloud computing concept was applied to the robot teleoperation to design robot cloud-operation platform. The resources and services of robot were stored in the cloud, and its structure was designed for three layers, resource layer, management layer, and service layer. User uses the platform by the service layer, and the robot services created by the service layer are robot teleoperation service, robot status information feedback service, robot scene information feedback service. The platform is able to further improve the teleoperation ability for multi-user in resource sharing, coordination, and security applications.
