Abstract
The influences of ambient temperature and bias voltage on the responsivity of avalanche photodiodes were theoretically analyzed. On this basis two methods for decreasing the temperature influence were put forward, which are the constant ambient temperature & constant bias voltage method, and method that changes the bias voltage in accordance with the ambient temperature with certain proportion. The feasibility of the two methods was verified by corresponding experiment with satisfactory results.
