Abstract

This article promotes a method improving gear-shifting quality applied powertrain coordinated control, builds the powertrain model, and analyses the influencing factor in gear-shifting process on automated mechanical transmission (AMT). Then a control strategy for coordinated control of engine and AMT in gear-shifting process is designed. The comparative tests for powertrain integrated gear-shifting process shows that appropriate control on engine torque and speed can effectively reduce gear-shifting time as well as jerk.
