Abstract
A new kind of A/D sampling mode controlled by SCM is introduced in this paper. It is different from the traditional mode and uses Altera CPLD, MAX7000, as the core of a high-speed system; which sampling frequency can be adjusted and maximum frequency is 1MHz. In this system CPLD controls 8-bit high-speed analog-to-digital converter, A/D7821, together with AT89 SCM to sample signals. This method increases the sampling speed that is limited by SCM instruction period in the past. The feature of the system is high speed and easy controlled.
