Abstract

This paper introduces the method of removal of range walk(RRW) in time domain into the parallel-track bistatic synthetic aperture radar, in order to treat the range dependence of the range curvature factor of parallel-track bistatic chirp scaling algorithm. The azimuth variance of the azimuth-FM rate, resulting from process of the RRW, is compensated by the nonlinear chirp scaling factor. The simulation results verify the methods presented in this paper.
