Abstract
An effective real-time fusion system of multispectral imaging was developed here based on the combination of both the multispectral photography and the photoelectric imaging technology. As compared to the multispectral photography, it can not only provide the real-time multispectral photography, but also extend the spectral response to the infrared region (1.1 μm), in addition, it can also be incorporated with the image-processing technology to increase its versatility. Its working principle and characteristics were introduced herein. The experimental results on it show that this technology has significant effect in increasing the recognition capability of the system, and has the potential to be used to many different applications.
