Abstract

A polarimetric clutter nulling based space-time adaptive processing approach is presented to weak target detection under short data samples. In the new processor, the signal under test vector is estimated via a modified least square scheme while the clutter subspace is iteratively recovered with a basis selected computationally efficient polarization-space-time sparse technique. Numerical results are given to illustrate the performance of the proposed polarimetric STAP method.
