Abstract

"Anywhere Home" is a telepresence living system for nursing relocation, where humanoid robot presents elderly's existence by compressed visual information in tele-housing interaction. An Open IoT space and Deep expression by companion robot NAO is prepared for Anywhere Home. Deep expression is based on nonverbal expression including personal characteristic motion that is important when presence of particular person is communicated to close person like family members. Personal characteristic gait of one elderly is designed as a Deep expression. A questionary investigation is performed to the family members of the elderly. Since the score of the questionnaire shows an average of 4.7 out of 5.0, the proposed expression is effective present individuality of the elderly. This expression can promote remote accessible feeling.
