Abstract

Considering synthetically the stochastic factors like processing time, arrival rate and due date of the job, combination performance of dispatching rules and routing rules was analyzed under different breakdown rates by simulation and the most optimized combination of dispatching rules and routing rules were given under each performance measure. Under dynamic production environment, in order to analyze rapidly by simulation, an approach of simulation modeling was presented based on template. The approach, considering the modeling element and simulation logic respectively as well as adopting the object-oriented simulation modeling methods, was used to build the control model for production line, and to accomplish modularization of control modeling. It improves the reuse and expansibility of simulation model.
