Abstract

GNSS-based SAR, which uses navigation satellite as an opportunistic source of illumination, has an important application potential in the field of remote sensing of the earth. because of long integration time (600s), the amount of acquired data of each experiment is exceedingly huge, and the data post-processing time is long, which brings great difficulties for application of this system. A GNSS-based SAR data acquisition and real time preprocessing system has been presented in the paper to solve the above-mentioned problems. This system has three channels and owns the ability to simultaneously process three satellites reflected signal. Statistical analysis under 100 MHz sampling and 200 seconds effective integration time, the data size is reduced by about 98.42% compared to original one, and the efficiency of time is increased by about 94.79% to original one. It promotes the practical application of GNSS-based BSAR system.
