Abstract
To compensate for nonlinear distortion of RF power amplifiers, a novel adaptive digital predistortion method based on piecewise polynomial was proposed, and multiple lower-odd-order-only polynomials in the form of orthogonal coordinates were used for predistorter design. Computational complexities of several adaptive digital predistortion methods were analyzed, and their convergence speed and linearization effectiveness were simulated by Matlab software. The proposed method is of low computational complexity and easy implementation. Simulation results showed that this method converges quickly and provides good linearization performance in suppressing the spectral regrowth.
