Abstract
In this paper, Novel Converter of Wind Power Generation System of Non-Grid-Connection for Radio Base Station is proposed. A DC/DC converter which has four operating modes is used in a digital system. A scheme of maximum power point tracking (MPPT) based on optimal tip speed ratio is proposed, which makes it possible to capture maximum wind energy. The hardware configuration design and software control scheme are described in detail. The system is applied to Radio Base Stations (RBS) for mobile phone communications.
