Abstract

With the rapid development of laser technology, the protection of high-energy lasers has received increasingly widespread attention. The current laser protection methods only have single function, and do not consider the detection technology. Based on this, this article proposes a bilayer coating system that combines invisibility and high energy laser protection performance. For surface layer, four types of carbon materials were used as fillers and two types of resins were used as base materials. For the bottom layer, both YSZ block and YSZ plasma sprayed coating were used. The results show that the carbon material in surface layer react with oxygen rapidly under laser irradiation conditions, achieving the rapid transition from invisible state to laser protection state. This bilayer coating has simple process and low cost, leading to great application value. Meanwhile, this method also provides inspiration for the design and preparation of other multifunctional coatings.
