Abstract

In the production of PVC gloves, there are 15 procedures which bring many difficulties to process control and diagnosis. In order to solve the problem, multivariate quality control method based on Principal Component Analysis was proposed. This article discusses the application of Principal Component Analysis in multivariate quality control of plastic products after summarizing the theories and methods. Proposed a case of the production of PVC gloves, five variables were kept by applying PCA to the seven variables in the process. The result shows the proposed method can get a simple and scientific conclusion in the production of PVC gloves.
